World Popular Song Festival - Luv'

In 1980, the popular band Luv' which consisted of Patty, Marga and José, was chosen to represent The Netherlands at the World Popular Song Festival in Tokyo with the song Be My Lover Tonight, but……….
Four months before the festival Patty left the group, she was replaced by Ria Thielsch but after a few weeks Marga also left the group and the manager decided to withdraw the song and the participation of Luv' was cancelled. The song was especially written for the World Popular Song Festival and should have been the start for a career in Japan. The song was only released in Japan as the B-side of the single Tingalingaling.
